Nya is 6 months old! I cannot believe it. Half a year has gone by already. We were in Sidney the day Nya turned 6 months and I didn't have my camera with me so I took a picture of her with my phone.....now how to get it from there to here....hmmmm?

When I was One, I had just begun.
When I was Two, I was nearly new.
When I was Three, I was hardly me.
When I was Four, I was not much more.
When I was Five, I was just alive.
But now I am Six, I'm clever as clever.
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.

Happy Easter!
Monday, April 13, 2009
Easter this year was so much fun! I love Easter. I love the pastel colors, the egg hunt, the bunnies, the dresses, spring flowers-I love it. This Easter I also have come to a deeper understanding of the atonement. Elder Holland's talk entitled, 'None Were With Him', changed the way I see the sacrifice that was made by my Savior. I am unable to express my gratitude for a Heavenly Father who loves me that much to make such a sacrifice and for my Savior, who suffered unimaginable amounts on my behalf. I cannot begin to understand what he felt, but I am so grateful that He not only understands how I feel, but has actually felt it, so that I can turn to him- I never have to suffer alone. It is a funny thing, if ever I ponder it, that I often feel alone. I think- how can I feel this way, I am ALWAYS surrounded by people? Yet I do, but I am never really alone. I have said before that the thing that I am the most grateful to my parents for is the gospel. Through all my struggles in life, past and present, the knowledge of a God who loves me and a Savior who died for me has never been questioned. I will never forget that talk and it will change my life forever. How grateful I am to have celebrated this Easter with so many loved ones.
