Today we decided to make banana bread, as we had several overly ripe bananas and a few too many unwanted fruit flies. I have tried and failed, as is the case every year, to keep them out of the house (the flies not the kids). The kids love being in the kitchen making something yummy they can eat and besides with the bakings skills they learn they also learn fractions along the way as well. They are learning and they don't even know it!
